Rebranding a company to change a perception

Armstrong Engineering was a research driven surgical robotics company that needed to capitalise on its developments and raise significant finance.

Quadrant work closely with the client and recommended that, in order to overcome some old perceptions and to provide a more contemporary face to both the financial community and to compete as a technology driven but credible medical equipment manufacturer, it was necessary to change names. Quadrant via a series of workshops suggested, both names and designs to rebrand both the company and the key products. The rebranding covered everything from logos to signage, literature and web development. Quadrant worked to develop messages and with a PR agency, ensured wide coverage. The new company Prosurgics closed its refinancing early, as it was over subscribed and quickly moved to launch its first robotics surgical device.
